Aged Care GP Panel - Allied Health

In 2007 the Aged Care GP Panels Initiative has been expanded to include Allied Health. The project will aim to improve relationships between Aged Care Facilities, GPs and Allied Health Professionals in the Area.

Aged Care Collaborative Workshops were held on the 7th of February for Coffs Harbour and the 12th of February for Grafton.

The workshops were well attended by local GPs, Aged Care Facilities, Allied Health, Specialists and Area Health Service. The evening provided an opportunity for all of these professionals to discuss residential aged care in our local area. The evening was part of the Aged Care GP Panels Initiative and was held to commence the expansion of the project with the inclusion of Allied Health onto the Panels Initiative.
