Rotavirus Vaccine

The rotavirus vaccine, Rotarix®, manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline is now available in a premixed presentation that does not require reconstitution. As with the previous presentation, Rotarix® only requires two doses as per the current NSW Health Immunisation Schedule.

 

To support the rollout of the new presentation of the vaccine,  GSK has developed the following documents which are attached below;

 

  • Rotarix® Flyer & product information (PI) (being delivered via the Vaccine Distribution Centre with vaccine orders.)

 

  • Rotarix® Q&A brochure & cover letter

 

  • Rotarix® dosing wheel (back & front) (sent to all GPs and  as well there are limited copies availble at the Divisions for future use as required)

 

  • Rotarix® press release .

  • Electronic copy of Rotavirus poster

  • Electronic copy of Understanding Immunisation Rotavirus
